Meet Our Management Team
Leonard C. Quick, P.E.
Chairman & CEO
As a Tulane University School of Engineering graduate and Registered Professional engineer in multiple states, Mr. Quick has had a distinguished career as a consulting and forensic engineer. Since 1980, he has practiced engineering, planning, design, analysis, contract management and administration for structures, buildings, foundations, roads, bridges drainage features and other engineer facilities and components. Furthermore, for more than 30 years, he has specialized in the field and professional practice of forensic engineering. Mr. Quick has evaluated and analyzed more than fifteen thousand property damage claims throughout his career, including catastrophe claims associated with hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes and hail.
Mr. Quick has been recognized as an expert in his field and has testified as a qualified expert witness in more than 450 cases in numerous courts across multiple states, including state, federal, municipal and county courts. He is a long-standing member of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Louisiana Engineering Society (LES). He is also a Certified Defective Drywall Consultant (CDDC).
Jared M. Bordelon, P.E., M.B.A.
President & COO
As President & COO, Mr. Bordelon performs an array of responsibilities that are pertinent to the running of Quick & Associates. He performs and manages forensic engineering investigations and consulting projects, consisting of both commercial and residential properties, throughout Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas . Upon the conclusion of inspection and documentation of information and data, Mr. Bordelon delivers a comprehensive analysis related to each individual property and defines the cause of damage accompanied by the necessary scope of repair with each corresponding analysis.
Mr. Bordelon has extensive experience in performing forensic investigations and analysis for the insurance, legal and municipal industries, wherein he determines the cause and origin of specific failures of the respective components throughout various building types. Before joining Quick & Associates, Bordelon aided in various aspects of cost approximation of multi-million dollar commercial and residential construction projects. He is a Louisiana State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University, and he is a registered member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Louisiana Engineering Society.
Kevin M. Hahn, P.E.
Vice President & CTO
As Vice President & CTO, Mr. Hahn’s responsibilities include managing various forensic engineering analysis and investigations, forensic examination and consulting comparative to civil municipal construction projects, property destruction assessments and structural letdowns. Additionally, he oversees the examination and analysis of project design strategies, analyzing vibration monitoring data, geotechnical instrumentation data and settlement location data by junior forensic engineers in order to determine the cause of claimed property damage.
His expertise consists of supervising, organizing and directing various forensic investigations for the insurance, legal and municipal industries to define the cause and origin of particular failures and the individual scope of reconstruction and repairs for respective damages. Preceding his employment at Quick & Associates Inc., Mr. Hahn supervised the development of teaching for laboratory testing processes and certifications along with managing and directing various field technicians at a regional geotechnical engineering firm. He is a graduate of Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Orleans and is a registered member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Louisiana Engineering Society and American Concrete Institute. Hahn is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states including, but not limited to, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Texas.
